Beautifully written – this really resonated with me as I desperately miss doing every day life with my best friends. Would love some tips from the author or a similar article about how to simulate doing life with long distance friends, as my best friends live across the country from me.

These are great suggestions already! I moved far, far away from home and I guess that’s the case for many of us. Our friends don’t live in the same town anymore, so many of these options sadly aren’t really fitting. I’d love suggestions for long distance friends

In response to Melanie, the tip about coordinating remote work break times can also be used for social gatherings. For example, I used to work scrapbooking dates with my sister online. We were able to chat, show pictures of what we were working on et cetera.
